f.r.t.l. Helena Guimarães (Universidade de Èvora/Portugal), Petra Biberhofer (WU Vienna), conference participant

From 11.-15.9.2017 Michael Ambros (BOKU) and Petra Biberhofer (WU Vienna) from the CASE Team participated at the International Transdisciplinarity Conference in 2017 co-organized by Leuphana University Lüneburg, Germany and the Network for Transdisciplinary Research (td-net) of the Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences. The overall objective of the conference was to strengthen communities of transdisciplinary research and education, and to create visibility for theoretical, empirical and transformative advances/results. In particular the conference focused on interculturality. Together with many inspiring participants we explored transdisciplinary research and education as intercultural endeavours concerning epistemologies, world-views, practices, and place-based differences. During our session on Sustainability-driven entrepreneurship – Curriculum for new approaches to business development we presented the CASE milestones such as our master curriculum and the current stage of the knowledge platform. As part of our session we had a very rich and inspiring discussion with the session participants and would like to thank the hosts for the great opportunity to share experiences about the CASE project.
