Setting new horizons for collaboration at Hamburg Sustainable Development Summit

From 26-29.9.2017 Petra Biberhofer (WU Vienna) and Mara Bauer (Vechta University) from the CASE team participated at the Hamburg Sustainable Development Summit (HSDS) 2017, organized by the Center for a Sustainable University at the University of Hamburg. The summit focused on aspects of sustainable development at Higher Education Institutions and in particular on the contribution to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within education, research, governance, operation and outreach initiatives.

During the CASE workshop on “Sustainability-driven entrepreneurship – curriculum for new approaches to business development” we shared and discussed the CASE project milestones and future steps. The CASE team was inspired and proud being part of the broad international network platform for sustainability initiatives and projects. And definately the summits aim to set new horizons for collaborations, using innovative network formats and inviting sustainability researchers and agents to be part of the global community to foster sustainable development in Higher Education Institutions as well as in society in general was fulfilled.
